Waddesdon Hill loop
The Waddesdon Hill loop is 5.3 miles (8.5km) long and takes walkers on a beautiful stroll through the Waddesdon Estate and up the hill, rewarding them with a truly spectacular view at the top. The rolling fields and woodland make for the perfect backdrop to this walking tour. Whilst there are some hills to contend with, this loop is suitable for all skill levels, taking around two and a half hours to complete. The walk begins right next to a car park, making this walk easy to access, while you can also visit the village afterwards for a tasty bite to eat.
Waddesdon Manor loop
Waddesdon Manor is one of the National Trust’s most visited properties and it’s easy to see why. From the beautiful gardens to the exquisite art collection and the aviary filled with colourful and exotic birds, visitors are treated to countless delightful sights. The Waddesdon Manor loop is 4.7 miles (7.5 km) long and begins in the village, taking walkers on a journey around the manor and the stunning grounds. The walk itself takes around two hours to complete but if you wish to explore the manor while you’re there, you could make a day of it!
The Stables Courtyard Waddesdon
The Stables Courtyard walk is 1.8 miles (2.9 km) long and takes walkers on an adventure through the stables on Waddesdon Manor grounds. It features the Coach House Gallery, where visitors can view a changing programme of special exhibitions. It’s also home to a couple of places to eat, including The Stables Hatch, which offers delicious hot food.
This easygoing walk takes about an hour to complete and is perfect for those looking to explore a different area of the manor.
